Yes, and why doesn't the guy sue their backsides off, instead of being
all meek and apologetic?

Should he have to be in jail because their highnesses were staying at
the same hotel?

A good citizen, participating in a legal activity, minding his own business
is arrested because Nancy Pigliosi wet her panties in fear.

What a absolutely disgusting Party of pussies.

Lie.

He was arrested for carrying concleaed weapons without a permit, not for
possessing the weapons.

He "forgot" he had 2 pistols , unlocked, in his suitcase, a vioolation of
Colorado law.

What a absolutely disgusting Party of pussies.
It's hilarious that the party of terrified wusses, who advocate that OTHERS
go to war to keep them "safe" from a 3rd rate blowhard, who are willing to
give up liberties so DHS can keep the "bad guys" away, and who sit and
quiver in fear in their living rooms, caressing their guns, try to blame
Pelosi for the actions of the Denver security experts who arrested a
criminal..

"Police say Calanchini had permits for the rifles, but did not have
concealed permits to carry two pistols that were found in his luggage.
Calanchini says he forgot they were in there.
He was charged with unlawfully carrying weapons, a misdemeanor. Calanchini
is being held on $10,000 bond at the Denver City Jail. "

The Gov't is designated as the ones with the most guns....although
there are tons of para/military guys out there who are worth nothing more
than shooting as their designated profession ascribes, the constructive ppl
like us law abiding gun owners who are more reluctant to take on the wolf
gang terrorists, will have to do just that..

Sure it does. The heightened security around Pelosi caused the desk clerk
to call attention to the guy's gun case. It's still not clear that he did
anything wrong, unless there are some squirrelly Denver laws that he was

There is no such thing as a "permit for a rifle" in Colorado or
Wyoming.
Wyoming and Colorado do not require or issue permits for long guns.
You do not need one to purchase, use, possess, or carry them.
If you are of age, and have no criminal or mental history the law only
forbids carrying them in a fashion that could be construed as
threatening or brandishing.

The concealed carry permit is only required if you are carrying the
handgun concealed "on or about you person".
You do not need any license or permit to carry in your vehicle, or to
open carry in Colorado.
(However, Denver has a law that forbids open carry. This law violates
state law, but was allowed to stand after a judge ruled that Denver
has "Home Rule" which allows the law to stand.)
There is no permit required to carry a handgun if it is not concealed
on or about your person.
Is a suitcase "on or about your person"?
I think most sane people would consider that an appropriate way to
carry a pistol while checking into a hotel.

If Pelosi and the DNC weren't there, he never would have been
questioned or arrested in the first place.
Carrying a rifle into a hotel (in a case) is not illegal and would not
have even raised suspicion if party bigwigs weren't in the building.

I understand that he was questioned, with tightened security and all,
but if his story made sense, and he wasn't some kook, that should have
been all. Perhaps they could have offered to store his firearms in
the safe until he checked out. But instead they arrested him on
seemingly bogus charges just to make Pelosi and friends feel like the
police were doing a bang up job.

Maybe the guy is crazy, and they are not releasing all the details to
the media, but if not, this guy is owed a huge apology and probably a
monetary settlement for his troubles.

There is no such thing as a "permit for a rifle" in Colorado or
Wyoming.
Wyoming and Colorado do not require or issue permits for long guns.
You do not need one to purchase, use, possess, or carry them.
If you are of age, and have no criminal or mental history the law
only forbids carrying them in a fashion that could be construed as
threatening or brandishing.

The concealed carry permit is only required if you are carrying the
handgun concealed "on or about you person".
You do not need any license or permit to carry in your vehicle, or to
open carry in Colorado.
(However, Denver has a law that forbids open carry. This law
violates state law, but was allowed to stand after a judge ruled that
Denver has "Home Rule" which allows the law to stand.)
There is no permit required to carry a handgun if it is not concealed

Is a suitcase "on or about your person"?
I think most sane people would consider that an appropriate way to
carry a pistol while checking into a hotel.

Carrying a rifle into a hotel (in a case) is not illegal and would
not have even raised suspicion if party bigwigs weren't in the

I understand that he was questioned, with tightened security and all,
but if his story made sense, and he wasn't some kook, that should
have been all. Perhaps they could have offered to store his firearms

seemingly bogus charges just to make Pelosi and friends feel like the
