Last night the Republicans lost control of the state legislature for the
first time in 40+ years. This election was buried in Democratic special
interest (527) money; for example, $700,000 was spent to defeat pro gun
rights Senator Jim Dyer. He won, but many did not.

The consequence of this outcome on gun owners is catastrophic. It means
only Democratic agendas will pass in Colorado.

What that really means to you is that wave after wave of gun control
bills will pass, including repeal of significant parts if not all of SB
24 and all of SB 25. You will see pass: gun bans, safe storage,
expanded background checks, possible taxes, ???? Their agenda will be
radical, Denver politics.

If you think Owens will surely veto them all, you better plan on a very
big threat to the GOP if he doesn't. You also better plan on giving
lots of money to the pro gun candidates and lots of time to elect them,
because in two years we elect a new governor.

You have to wonder how this happened, given the apparent fact that
Bush won the popular vote in this state by 7%. The answer: Diebold

As I understand it, and that only by rumor, Ben Campbell is Portuguese; no
indian heritage at all. He was riding the 'indian jewelry' craze of the
mid-70's, and got adopted by the Northern Cheyenne (fund the ceremony, and
you're 'in'). He started calling himself 'Nighthorse' for the jewelry
market.
He spearheaded the first 'race-testing' bill since the Civil War; 'indian
goods protection'; pork-barreled the Indian Medicine Center, restricted to
those of indian bloodline; rode to prominence on 'affirmative action for
amerindians', and turns out not to be one at all, but a 'secret'
capitalist/protectionist/elitist.
Seems very curious to me.

Food, clothes, gifts.
'Adoption' doesn't have the same meaning for them as for us- they think the
burden is on the one adopted, not the other way round.

Yeah, sure. Nutters and schitzophrenic imbeciles went to the polls,
voted a Repugnikkkan Presidential ticket, then voted a Democratic

There are other items they will plan for the next two years.

1. Repeal TABOR
2. More everyday micromanagement of of businesses just like in
California.
3. Helmet Law and an enhanced seatbelt law
4. Legislation that favors Denver and the rest of the state will go to
hell.
5. Repeal laws friendly to gun owners (already mentioned).

The demo takeover was engineered by four wealthy corporate executives.
They are Jared Polis, Rutt Bridges, Tim Gill and Pat Stryker. They
also used Amendment 36 as a distraction which was sponsored by a
wealthy California executive. It seems like Californians and Elitist
Easterners like to meddle in our affairs such as George Soros, Andrew
McKelvey (Internet billionaire).

I have lived here for almost 10 years and it saddens me this state is
getting Californicated with the dumbass laws like the cigarette tax (I
don't smoke but voted against) and pansy ass busybody people. I
remembered when I moved here 10 years ago and the attitude was
different than today. At that time, the Californians that moved here
were pretty new to the scene so they weren't quite in the mood to
shake up the place. At the time when I moved here, people were
friendly, the neighborhood I live in was pretty well hands off on what
you did. Today, it is different. An example, where I live at, they
have some stringent rules such as dogs - they have to be < 25 pounds
which is basically a dog of a size like a little french poodle and
nothing bigger. Parking is another issue. They get upset about people
parking their trucks outside whereas 10 years ago, no one gave a rats
ass. Also, people are not as friendly compared to 1995.

One thing that apprarent back in 1995 and probably even more so before
I moved here was the culture and ideals of the American West. You were
pretty well left alone as long as you did not bother anyone else. Not
today with the busybodies that came especially from California.

Well, enough on soap box. I am disturbed on what has been going on
here.

Editorial

Enjoying the mestizo* influence in Co. politics? And if illegal
immigration is not controlled Co. will become a politial New Jersey.

Go to Tom Tancredo's web site

http://www.house.gov/tancredo/
http://www.house.gov/tancredo/Immigration/

You can sign up and fax Washington for FREE to stop illegal
immigration:

http://www.numbersusa.com/fax

This is making some difference. Illegal immigration is the biggest
threat to Colorado. If the flood continues then CO is the next
California.

we should all join the demogoguery party so we can be an effective lobby to
stop them.
